Hello everyone!
Today, I’m excited to share our very first guest article. I’d like to introduce you to Devansh Singh, a talented writer on Substack whom I’ve been following for a while. I loved his unique writing style, so I reached out to him to contribute a guest article—and he delivered an amazing piece on Belief and Success. I hope you enjoy it!
Thoughts on Belief and Success
Written by Devansh Singh
If you could do anything and never fail at it, what would you do?
When people run this thought experiment, they mention things they never otherwise would have considered.
And then, when you ask them what’s stopping them from doing these things, they draw a blank.
The answer is belief.
Basically, your actions reflect your thoughts. It is an obvious, uninteresting, yet crucial fact that you don’t do things you don’t think yourself into.
If Steve Jobs had never thought of creating Apple, then guess what? There would be no Apple. Nike would not exist if Phil Knight had not thought to take that wild expedition to Okinawa in 1962.
All great things are built on thought and belief.
Tim Ferriss showed that it is possible to earn millions working only four hours a week, and after he demonstrated the possibility, others did it.
More and more people climbed Mount Everest after the first person reached the summit.
When pioneers show you it can be done, others follow. It doesn’t mean those others were incapable of great feats—only that they never thought they could achieve them.
Does that make sense?
People don’t think and believe that a life without dreaded work, toxic people, and bad health is possible. And that’s exactly what they get.
So, it’s pretty scientific and obvious that your thoughts reflect your life and wealth.
Now, with that said, how do you change your thoughts, which dictate your life? First, you rid yourself of limiting beliefs.
Then, you build new beliefs.
